Common questions

Quick answers to the most frequent support issues.

How do I install InvoiceOps?

Install the Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store, then create a free account at InvoiceOps.com. Enter your GSTIN, SMTP credentials, and naming convention inside the extension popup — then hit Run.

Does InvoiceOps work with my Gmail account?

Yes. InvoiceOps uses a Gmail App Password for SMTP delivery. Generate one in your Google Account security settings — it's a separate password just for apps, your main password is never stored.

My invoices aren't being renamed. What should I check?

Make sure you are on the Vendor Central invoice drafts page when you run InvoiceOps. If the session has timed out, refresh the Vendor Central tab and try again.

Can I run InvoiceOps on multiple vendor accounts?

Yes. Go to the Workspaces panel in the extension and add each account. Each workspace has its own GSTIN, SMTP settings, naming convention, and invoice history.

PDF generation is failing. What do I do?

Check that your GSTIN and billing address are filled in the extension settings. PDFs are generated from this data, so missing fields will cause failures.

The scheduler ran but no emails were sent.

Check the Run History panel for the failed run. Common causes: Gmail App Password expired or revoked, SMTP port blocked by your network, or buyer email field missing in invoice data.

Billing questions?

Subscription, refunds, plan changes, or invoice requests.
